It was blue skies and warm temperatures for today’s festivities at W. Dale Clark Main Library downtown. Kids enjoyed stories, music, bubbles, vintage cars, sidewalk art and a visit from Omaha Public Library’s mascot Scamper. Enjoy photos from today’s event below!
The kick-off celebrates the beginning of the two-month long OPL Summer Reading Program (SRP). Parties at the remaining 11 branches will happen Saturday, June 1, 2-4 p.m., followed by an adults-only event at Omaha Children’s Museum, 7-9 p.m.
We hope you join in the fun of SRP in 2013!
