Take a Page – April Fuller

Every other week, we share what our patrons are reading with the Omaha World-Herald.
This week, Florence Branch patron April Fuller recommends five of her favorite reads:

April Fuller
1.       Harry the Dirty Dog” by Gene Zion. We enjoyed this book because it was about a dog that refused to take a bath and got so dirty that his family did not recognize him.
2.       Jungle Bullies” by Steven Kroll. This book teaches children how not to be bullies and how to deal with bullies.
3.       The Boy Who Wouldn’t Share” by Mike Reiss. We enjoyed this book because it taught that sharing is caring.
4.       The “Vampire Diaries” collection by L.J. Smith. I love the television show, but the books are better – more in-depth.
5.       The “Mercy Thompson” novels by Patricia Briggs. I’m just a big fan of anything that has to do with vampires, werewolves, witches and romance. Mercy Thompson novels provide a good mix of them all.
