Take A Page – Audrey S. Kuether

Every other week, we share what our patrons are reading with the Omaha World-Herald. This week, Willa Cather patron Audrey S. Kuether shares her favorite adventure novels, mysteries and more.

1. Diana Gabaldon – the entire “Outlander” series. “There’s romance, mystery and history over several hundred years. It’s absolutely fascinating.”

2.  Clive Cussler – “His books include intrigue, excitement, mystery and good-looking guys.”

3.  David Baldacci’s Oliver Stone series. “There are lots of interesting facts about Washington, D.C., and how things work there.”

4.  Walter Farley’s “Black Stallion” series. “It’s for young adults, but it’s just great reading. I would read them all again.”

5. Carl Hiassen – “I’d recommend any of his books about the governor of Florida who has retired and tries to save the world from all of the idiots who inhabit it.”

6. J.A. Jance – “Either the Joanna Brady or J.P. Beaumont series are great mystery series.”
